Another recent theme that I’m proud of: the opening title sequence to the atmospheric horror film The Banshee (dir: Donncha Gilmore).
It was a lot of fun honing in on that John Carpenter aesthetic for the mood of the piece.
The year is 720-亵. Mega-Earth has fallen and the stars are in retreat.
Now Darkness eclipses Light and terror’s shadow turns the sky to salt.
But unearthed from the Archives, a glimmer of steel grants hope…

A few 2018 projects that I’m just updating now:
Night Owls (dir: Donncha Gilmore), a horror short with perhaps the best title font ever. Below is a short extract from the score, featuring some of my infamous viola playing.
Hello again! I’ve decided to upload my new score for Tom Rowley’s 2017 film ‘These Books’. I’ve been working on it for the past while and I’m very excited to finally share it with everyone.
The project was a lot of fun to work on, especially because of the stellar string performances by Elliot Murphy and Patricia Stepien.
I wanted to share some music from a recent project I’ve been working on, so here is some of the soundtrack to the imminent screen-musical The Gambler (composed by Josh Reichental and Elliot Murphy) as well as extracts from the 2015 musical Bonsoir Luna (composed by Josh Reichental and Stephen O’Brien)
Thanks to Chris McCormack, Stephen Dunne, and Stephen Foster with help recording, editing, and producing the soundtrack.
Hope you enjoy this small sample!
I am now officially a Master of Composition in Film and Television! I will hopefully be returning to celebrate in Bristol in February for the graduation ceremony.
In addition, I recently completed the score to Glenn Whelan’s ‘Penrose’. The final product should be released soon; I’ll be sure to post it here.
Yesterday afternoon I attended the Irish premiere of Bonsoir Luna at the Indiecork festival.
The film received a great reception from the audience, and shared company with a brilliant selection of documentaries, dramas and animation.
Here I am, after a long day travelling, with director Donncha Gilmore!
Here is a snapshot of what I worked on as part of my M.A in Composition for Film and TV at the University of Bristol.
Included are re-scorings of the BBC documentaries ‘Wonders of the Monsoon’ and ‘Miracle in the Marshes of Iraq’, the Wallace & Gromit short ‘The Wrong Trousers’, and assorted work for Sci-Fi, Lifestyle, and Drama.
Welcome to my new site,
I hope to use these posts to keep track of the music and films I’m working on in the future. Feel free to check out the Music and Video tabs to see my past work, and the Contact page if you’d like to get in touch.
I’m excited to be currently working on the score for Glenn Whelan’s thriller Penrose, whilst also in pre-production for a big project I can hopefully announce early next year!
